I’m going to take this moment (since it’s our blog) to rant a little bit: It’s a really long shot, but we’re going to go for it.
As a band you are constantly barraged by companies asking you to essentially bug your fans and get them to ‘vote’ for you. In the end though it really ends up just being a ploy to get said company more customers and so – as a result – Please Do Not Fight has made it a policy not to pull that kind of stuff. We don’t want to be asking our fans and friends to be constantly giving away their contact information for a one in a hundred chance that we might win some prize.
But this is different.

Needless to say the Death Cab album Transatlantism has helped me though some hard times and has become and continues to be one of my all time favorites. Needless to say Geoff owns Death Cab For Cutie DVDs and him and I have followed the works of Chris Walla for a while. Needless to say my computer contains almost every recording Ben Gibbard has ever made.
Needless to say we’re big fans.
So it’s a real long shot – we’re up again some incredible local bands that we love and fully and 100% have our support – but we’re going to try and we really need your help!
